A Little History
Jake Dueck learned the building trade alongside his own father and uncle, building residential properties in the Comox Valley when the company was originally known as Dueck & Sons Contracting. In earning his spurs as a master builder, Jake built around 80 houses in the area. In 1972, he built his first house in the Nanaimo area.
After relocating to Lantzville, the family business changed its name to Dueck General Contracting and was incorporated as DHC Holdings Corp in 1992.
